Starting in 2001 Dale Martin wrote and drew an alt-weekly strip called “Continuity and Vine”, where he snark about pop culture, art, history, and whatever else caught his fancy. Six months into the strip’s run the Twin Towers were destroyed and cartooning about movie marketing schemes and celebrity misadventures didn’t seem so important any more. While the “Continuity and Vine” strips are very much of their time– and as a result can seem a little dated at times– they feature some of Dale's best brush inking and satiric writing. You can read more about "Continuity and Vine" (including sample comica) on Dale's blog.

Three 28 page .pdfs written & drawn by Dale Martin; originally published in October 2001, October 2002, & April 2003.
